Sooo...I can't even begin to recall how many journal entries I've read during the past few weeks that have discussed (or just plain bitched) about the tracing issue here on DA. Here's my solution for it: LEAVE.

If you don't want to worry about someone possibly coming along and stealing your art just so they can smudge a corner of it and call it their own, then remove your art and run like hell. I know that's what I'm doing. I know that I'm not the greatest artist, and I wouldn't ever assume that someone would trace anything of mine, but I'm not going to take the risk. I'd like to quote the journal of someone I watch by saying, "You may not have the greatest art, but it's still YOURS". If you value it, and you want to avoid theft, then find another art site on which to post your work.

As for me, my close friends will know where to find me. If you're really that interested, ask and I may tell where that is.

So...I'm not dead, contrary to popular belief. I even added a new drawing! Once I finish sketching/coloring things, I might add more...but we'll see.

Hopefully, this trend will continue.

Gah...I wish Spring Break could just get here already. I really hate whining about it, but...I'm at the very end of my patience (and that's quite a feat in itself), and I just want to go home for awhile. Sadly, it's currently a better alternative then the dorms.

I suppose everyone's just tired of the snow and each other. It's not uncommon to get snippity when you're around the same 5 people ALL the time. Still. That doesn't mean people have to get bitchy. As the icon says, I'm not impressed with all of the theatrics (though I DO oppose smoking ).

Hopefully, this next week and a half will give people some time to themselves where they can recollect their thoughts and calm the hell down.

So, I have multiple reasons to be extremely excited right now. They are, as follows:

1.) I only have 3 days of work left until summer, including today (that's if I don't work over Spring Break). HUZZAH. My entire winter break has been spent trolling around the Meijer Fashion department and cleaning up after people who don't have the common sense to put things back where they belong. I'm tired of it. If I wanted to clean up after someone, I'd have children of my own. So whoopee for the end of trailing slobs!

2.) School starts back up next week, and I can't wait to go back. Not only do I miss the independence of college, but I'm really looking forward to some of the classes I'll be taking. Yay for mythology!

3.) Ohayocon is next weekend! Eeeeks! I CAN NOT wait to geek out with my friends and run around the con like a psychopath. The line for passes will be somewhat annoying, but...oh well. It will be well worth it.

4.) I have the weekend off! Yay! That means I have two whole days to poke people and demand that they entertain me. Because I'm a freakin' princess that way. ^_~ I demand hilarity!

5.) Lastly, but most certainly the most exciting news of all: I'm getting a tablet for my birthday! YAAAAY. My mom agreed to buy me a lovely $200 tablet as my singular present from my parents. And, by golly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Wacom, please send me my beauuuutiful blue tablet now~!!!
